How to add text after / before price e.g. /month

Put your own text before or after the price on Vehica listings — /month, for instance — and add extra price fields for rental rates, so each price says what it means.

This article explains how to add text such as /month after the price, like this:

Two listing cards with arrows pointing at the prices, which read "$14,600 /month" and "$40,000 /month".

Add the text to the price field

You can edit the price field in Vehica Panel > Custom Fields: find the “Price” field and click Edit.

The Custom Fields page in the Vehica Panel; arrows run from the Custom Fields menu item to the Edit button on the Price row of the field table.

Set Text before value and Text after value — for example /month — and save the field.

The Price field settings with an empty "Text before value" box and "/month" typed into "Text after value"; arrows point at both boxes and at the Save Changes button.

Add another price field

You can also have several price fields — one for the full price, one for a monthly rent, one for a daily rent, and so on. Add a new price field this way:

The "Add new field" row on the Custom Fields page with the name "Price (day)" typed in and the Field Type dropdown open on Price, next to the Add New Field button.

Then drag and drop it into the position you want in the field list:

The Custom Fields list with the new "Price (day)" row at the bottom, below Model, Drive Type, Mileage, VIN and the rest, being picked up for dragging.

The new field then appears on the submit listing form and elsewhere on the site.

The front-end Add Listing form, where a highlighted "Price (day) (USD)" input now sits next to the existing "Price (USD)" field.

You can also put it on the search form, the same way as any other field.

The Elementor "Edit Search Listing" panel with a new item added and its Field dropdown open, listing both Price and Price (day); the inventory page with the search form is previewed beside it.
