Connect your Listivo site to Stripe: copy the API keys into the Listivo Panel, register the webhook endpoint Listivo gives you, and paste the signing secret back so subscription payments are reported to your site.

If you want to use subscriptions, you have to enable them and add Stripe credentials. You add them in Listivo Panel > Monetization > Stripe.

The screenshots use test mode
The Stripe screens below are in test mode. Only use it if you are testing the process on your website.
  1. 1 Sign in to Stripe

Sign in to your account on stripe.com or create a new account if you don't have one.

The stripe.com home page headed "Payments infrastructure for the internet", with a green arrow pointing at the "Sign in" button in the top-right corner.
  2. 2 Open the Developers tab

To get the API key, go to the developers tab.

Stripe Developers > API keys in test mode, with green arrows on the Developers button, the API keys tab and the blurred Publishable key and Secret key rows under Standard keys.
  3. 3 Copy the API keys into Listivo

Rewrite the publishable key and the secret key to Listivo Panel > Monetization > Stripe.

Listivo Panel > Monetization > Stripe with Enabled ticked and arrows pointing from the Stripe tab to the Publishable Key and Secret Key fields; the webhook endpoint URL is printed below them.
  4. 4 Add a webhook endpoint

To get the webhook secret, go to the webhook tab and add an endpoint.

Stripe Developers > Webhooks page listing blurred hosted endpoints, with a green arrow pointing at the "+ Add endpoint" button.
  5. 5 Copy the endpoint URL from Listivo

Copy the endpoint URL from wp-admin > Listivo Panel > Monetization > Stripe…

Listivo Panel > Monetization > Stripe with the Publishable Key filled in as pk_test_… and a green arrow pointing at the webhook endpoint URL printed under the Webhook secret field.
  6. 6 Paste it into the Stripe dialog

… and paste the endpoint URL into the "add endpoint" window. You can add your own description.

Stripe's "Listen to Stripe events" dialog with the empty Endpoint URL field highlighted, a Description box, "Events on your account" selected, and the "Select events" link and Add endpoint button below.
  7. 7 Select the events to listen to

You have to select three of them: checkout.session.completed, invoice.paid and invoice.payment_failed.

Stripe's "Select events to listen to" box with three chips — checkout.session.completed, invoice.paid and invoice.payment_failed — above a "Change events" link.
  8. 8 Click "Add endpoint"
  9. 9 Reveal the signing secret

You just created the webhook for your website. Now you have to add one more piece of data to the Listivo settings: go to your webhook and "reveal" the signing secret.

Stripe webhook detail page with Status Enabled, "Listening for 3 events" and a green arrow pointing at the Reveal link under Signing secret; the endpoint URL is blurred.
  10. 10 Copy the signing secret Stripe webhook page for the wp-admin/admin-post.php endpoint, API version 2022-11-15, with the Signing secret box highlighted and an invoice.paid event listed under Today.
  11. 11 Save it as the Webhook secret

Paste the signing secret into wp-admin > Listivo Panel > Monetization > Stripe > field Webhook secret and save changes.

Listivo Panel > Monetization > Stripe with green arrows pointing at the Stripe tab, the Webhook secret field and the Save Changes button.

Done! Now you can create subscriptions for your users.
