Elementor Page Builder Overview – how to edit pages, layouts and templates
Find out where Vehica keeps its pages, layouts and templates, and how to open each of them in Elementor — from the homepage and its search form to the header, footer and single vehicle page.
1 minute read
Elementor is the core plugin for the Vehica theme. It lets you modify any page on your website. If you have not used Elementor before, we recommend watching this two-minute getting started video, then trying the editor yourself by dragging and dropping elements to create or modify your first page.
Editing the homepage and any other page
This covers the homepage and any standard page — Contact us, About us and the rest.
Just visit the page (e.g. the homepage) and click this link in the admin bar:
If you cannot see the link in the top admin bar, you can also get there from the Pages list:
You will be redirected to the Elementor page builder, where you can edit every element — the search form, for example.
Editing layouts (header and footer)
Vehica has a layout system:
Layout = header + <page-content> + footer
You can edit layouts from the admin bar — the layout the page uses is named in the “Edit with Elementor” dropdown:
Or you can pick the layout in the /wp-admin/ panel instead:
Editing templates
These templates are edited in Elementor as well:
- Vehicle Page Template
- Vehicle Search Results Template
- User Page Template
- Post Page Template
- Blog Page Template
You can reach them this way:
