Server requirements / php.ini / cPanel

Check your hosting against these requirements before you install the theme: the PHP version we recommend, the PHP limits the theme needs, and where to raise them if your server falls short.

1 minute read

To run the theme effectively, your hosting provider should support the following.

PHP version

PHP 8.1 or 8.2. We suggest avoiding PHP 8.3 for now, as it is still in beta support by WordPress — you can check the current status on the PHP compatibility and WordPress versions page.

PHP settings

  • upload_max_filesize = 32M
  • post_max_size = 32M
  • max_input_time=300
  • max_execution_time= 300
  • max_input_vars = 10000
  • memory_limit = 256M

If the default limits are inadequate, you can modify your server settings through your hosting provider's cPanel or by editing the php.ini file.

Let your host do it
If you're unable to make these changes yourself, contact your hosting provider. Provide them with the minimum requirements outlined above, and they can make the necessary adjustments on your behalf.
