How to edit footer?

The Listivo footer is part of the layout, not a separate settings page. This article shows the two ways to open that layout in Elementor and how to change the footer's sections and colours.

1 minute read

Listivo has a Layout System.

Layout = header + <page-content> + footer

Open the layout for editing

To edit the footer you will need to edit the layout. You can do it directly on your page this way:

Log in to your website's WordPress admin panel and open your site. In the bar at the top choose Edit with Elementor, then the layout — Inverse Menu Layout in the example below.

The WordPress admin bar with the Edit with Elementor menu open, listing Inverse Menu Layout, Site Settings and Theme Builder, above the site's dark footer.

Or you can select it via the /wp-admin/ panel this way:

Listivo Panel > Templates with the Layout tab open; arrows point at Templates in the sidebar and at the Edit button of the layout named Layout.

Change the footer

Your website is now in edit mode, and you can change the settings to suit your needs.

The Elementor editor with the widget panel on the left and the site preview on the right, scrolled to the footer with its logo, Useful Links, Categories and Newest Listings columns and the copyright line.

Scroll down and you will see your footer:

A zoomed-out view of the dark footer in the editor, with an arrow pointing at the logo and the Call Support, Email and Address details in the first column.

You can now remove or add sections and change the colours easily:

The Edit Section panel open on the Style tab with the Background colour picker showing, and arrows pointing from it to the footer, which is now purple in the preview.

After finishing your work, click Update at the bottom of the panel and it is ready.

The Edit Section Style tab with the Color Picker open on hex value #6E66D7, and an arrow pointing down at the green UPDATE button in the bottom toolbar.
