Enabling Marker Clustering in Map Widgets

Group pins that sit close together into a single numbered marker, so a busy map stays readable. Clustering is off by default and is switched on per map widget.

1 minute read

Listivo includes an option to group pins that are close to each other into clusters. By default, this option is turned off, but you can enable it in the Map Widget as follows:

A map of New York showing red price tags such as $4,950 and $85,000 alongside blue circular markers labelled "2".
With clustering on, pins that sit close together collapse into one circle showing how many ads it holds.
  1. 1 Open the template that has a map

The map is usually on the search results page, so go to Listivo Panel > Search Results Page and edit the template that contains it.

The Listivo Panel Templates screen with the Search Results Page tab selected, listing Sidebar Search, Map Search and Horizontal Search. Arrows point to the tab and to the Edit button on the Map Search row.
  2. 2 Open Advanced Map Settings

Edit the Search Map widget and expand the Advanced Map Settings section.

The Elementor "Edit Search Map" panel with Advanced Map Settings expanded, showing a Marker Clustering toggle and a Marker Type selector, next to a preview of the search page and its map.

Here, you can turn on or off the Marker Clustering feature.

The Advanced Map Settings section with the Marker Clustering toggle switched to Yes.
