How the Compare feature works

The Compare module adds Add to Compare buttons to Ad Cards and to the Single Ad Page. When a visitor selects at least 2 ads, a floating bar appears that takes them to the compare page.

A row of listing cards on the front end, each with a compare icon under the price; a floating bar in the corner holds the selected ads as thumbnails above an orange Compare button.

You can turn the Compare option on or off in the Listivo Panel under Features > Compare.

The Listivo Panel settings screen with the Features tab selected and the Compare checkbox, labelled "Possibility to compare offers", ticked.

Customizing the Compare page

When enabled, the Compare feature automatically appears across your website. The Compare page itself — the text below its heading and the order of the fields — is edited with the Elementor Page Builder.

The front-end Compare page: a Compare heading with a paragraph of placeholder text and a Back to Search button on the left, and two ads side by side with rows for Price, Category, Bedrooms, Bathrooms and Build Year.
  1. 1 Open the Compare page in Elementor

Go to wp-admin > Pages > Compare > Edit with Elementor.

The WordPress Pages list with Pages highlighted in the sidebar and the row actions under the Compare page expanded, pointing at Edit with Elementor.
  2. 2 Set the text and fields

Select the grey placeholder box and configure the text and the fields you want to display.
