Server requirements / php.ini / cPanel – please read if you have any problem with installation

Check your hosting against the PHP version and limits Vehica needs, so that theme uploads, plugin installs and the demo importer do not fail halfway through.

1 minute read

To ensure the theme runs smoothly, your hosting provider should support the following:

PHP version

PHP 8.1 or 8.2.

Avoid PHP 8.3 for now
WordPress only provides beta support for PHP 8.3, so we recommend staying on 8.1 or 8.2. You can check the current beta status in the WordPress PHP compatibility reference.

PHP settings

  • upload_max_filesize = 32M
  • post_max_size = 32M
  • max_input_time = 300
  • max_execution_time = 300
  • max_input_vars = 10000
  • memory_limit = 256M

Raising the limits

If the default limits are inadequate, you can modify your server settings through your hosting provider's cPanel or by editing the php.ini file.

Ask your hosting provider
If you are unable to make these changes yourself, contact your hosting provider for assistance. Give them the minimum requirements above and they can make the necessary adjustments on your behalf.

Ask the people who build Vehica

We answer by email from support@tangiblewp.com. With Premium Support, we also fix your site when something breaks.
