How to add new field on single / inventory page?

Creating a custom field does not put it on your pages. This article shows how to place an existing field on the search results template and on the single ad template with Elementor.

1 minute read

This article will walk you through the inventory page. After reading it, you will know how to add new fields and remove the ones you do not need.

New fields are not placed for you
The newly added field will not show automatically on your Search Form or Single Vehicle Page. You need to add it manually, for example this way.

Add the field to the search results page

  1. 1 Open the search results template

Go to Listivo Panel -> Templates and pick the template you want to edit. In the example below, we edit the search results page.

Listivo Panel > Templates with the Search Results Page tab open, listing Sidebar Search, Map Search and Horizontal Search; arrows point at Templates in the sidebar, at the tab and at the Edit button of Sidebar Search.
  2. 2 Open the search widget

Using Elementor, you can add your new field to the search V2 widget.

The Elementor Edit Search V3 panel with a Sidebar fields list of numbered items, next to a preview of the search results page showing the search bar, the category filters and listing cards.
  3. 3 Click Add Item

Click on the "add item" button.

The fields list scrolled down to the ADD ITEM button, outlined with an arrow pointing at it, above the Sort By section and the green UPDATE button.
  4. 4 Select the new field

Select the new field from the list. Then configure how you would like to display it, and remember to update.

The Field select open on a list of fields — Keyword, Category, Price, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Build Year, Property Size, Salary, Make, Model, Year, Mileage and more — with arrows pointing at ADD ITEM and at the UPDATE button.

Add the field to the single ad page

  1. 1 Open the ad page template

Go to Listivo Panel -> Templates and pick the template you want to edit. In the example below, we edit the Single Page.

Listivo Panel > Templates with the Ad Page tab open, listing Carousel, Mosaic and Gallery; arrows point at Templates in the sidebar, at the Ad Page tab and at the Edit button of Gallery.
  2. 2 Add the field to the widget

Using Elementor, you can add your new field to the widget.

The Edit Ad attributes V3 panel with Item #2 set to the Bedrooms field and Display Label switched on, and an arrow pointing at the Bedrooms: 3 chip on the single ad page preview.
  3. 3 Select the new field

Select the new field from the list. Then configure how you would like to display it, and remember to update.
