How to prevent emails go to SPAM folder? How to use SMTP ?

Send your site's emails through a real mail server instead of PHP's mail() function, so notifications land in the inbox rather than the spam folder.

The theme uses the WordPress mail function
This theme sends emails via the default WordPress function. If you receive emails from your WordPress — right after WordPress installation, or when you change your password — it means that your server will also work with our theme. It is the same function.

By default, WordPress uses the PHP mail() function, which is often why emails go to the Spam folder. To avoid this, you can make a bit more advanced mail setup.

Set up WP Mail SMTP

  1. 1 Install the WP Mail SMTP plugin

Visit the Plugins » Add New page inside your WordPress admin area, search for WP Mail SMTP and click Install Now.

The WordPress Add Plugins screen with "WP MAIL SMTP" typed into the keyword box; arrows point to the Plugins menu in the sidebar, the search box and the Install Now button on the WP Mail SMTP by WPForms card.
  2. 2 Activate the plugin The WP Mail SMTP by WPForms card on the Add Plugins screen with an arrow pointing to the blue Activate button.
  3. 3 Open the plugin settings

Hover over the "Settings" tab in the left sidebar and click "Email".

The WordPress sidebar showing the WP Mail SMTP menu opened below Settings, with the entries Settings, Email Log, Email Reports, Tools and About Us.
  4. 4 Configure the SMTP options

We recommend enabling SMTP via a Gmail account because it is the most stable and always works. Please check this article on how to configure it: Setting up the Gmail mailer in WP Mail SMTP.
